The Lakota School Board election will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023. (One) city position, for a term of (3) years, and (one) rural position for a term of (3) years are to be filled. At the end of the filing deadline the following individual(s) filed for the city position: Trent Matejcek. The following individual (s) filed for the rural position: Jason Sorlien.
There will be (one) polling site held at the Lakota Fire Hall located in Lakota, ND between the hours of 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Absentee ballots are available by contacting the Lakota High School office after April 27, 2023. An application form must be filled out and returned to the Business Manager before a ballot will be mailed/given out. Absentee ballots are available until the day before the election. Please make sure you leave enough time to return your ballot as no ballot will be accepted the day of the election.
